Automation Tester

As a QA Automation Tester specializing in WebDriver JS or Playwright, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test suites for web applications. You will work on implementing Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using WebDriver JS with POM for code reusability. - Implementing BDD using frameworks like Cucumber.js for human-readable test scenarios. - Collaborating with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define acceptance criteria. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Performing cross-browser and cross-platform testing for application compatibility. - Writing and executing API tests alongside UI automation for end-to-end validation. - Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and working with development teams to resolve issues. - Optimizing test execution speed and reliability through parallel execution and efficient test design. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3 - 5 years of experience in WebDriverIO with TypeScript. - Strong expertise in Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. - Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.js. - Proficiency in writing Gherkin syntax for test scenarios. - Experience with CI/CD integration and version control systems. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have the following skills: - Experience with Playwright (Typescript) for additional test coverage. - Knowledge of API testing tools and cloud-based testing platforms. - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter and using AI/ML for test script generation.
