Automation tester

You are a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with 1 to 5 years of experience, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Your role involves closely collaborating with the development team to identify, document, and resolve defects while upholding high testing standards. Your key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing system specifications to comprehend testing requirements, designing, developing, and executing test cases (both manual and automated) to guarantee product quality, tracking bugs and issues to resolution using bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, providing feedback on product design by collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting various testing types such as regression, functional, integration, and performance testing, preparing detailed test reports for stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, possess proficiency in testing tools like Selenium and Postman, have a strong grasp of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, demonstrate hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and showcase good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred skills for this position include experience with API testing and performance testing tools like JMeter, familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or SQL for test scripting, and knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or Git.
