Role Overview: We are seeking a mid-to-senior level QA Test Automation Engineer to establish and implement our test automation practice. The candidate will begin by focusing on Data Integrity automation and will later scale into API and UI testing . The engineers will collaborate closely with our teams as we build out robust automation. As a Microsoft/.NET-focused organization with Python capabilities , the engineer will work within a tech stack that includes Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, and Azure DevOps . Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Data Integrity test automation using Python and/or .NET. Build and maintain an automation framework that supports API and UI testing . Strong SQL knowledge to validate data integrity, write queries for test validations, and support back-end test automation. Identify, evaluate, and integrate appropriate test automation tools (for example: PyTest for Python, XUnit for C#/.NET, Selenium for UI, and Postman for API testing). Work within an Agile Scrum team, collaborating closely with QA leads and development teams. Write and maintain automated test scripts for data validation, API endpoints, and web UI components. Leverage Git and Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipeline integration, and automated test execution. Ensure all automated tests are reliable, maintainable, and scalable , providing consistent test results and quick feedback. Required Qualifications & Experience: Mid to Senior level QA automation expertise (5+ years of relevant experience). Hands-on experience developing test automation with Python and/or .NET . Proficiency in UI automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright. Experience with API testing and automation (e.g., using Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks). Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and environments. Strong understanding of Git , VS Code , and Visual Studio for collaborative development and testing. Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and working in Scrum teams. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Proven experience setting up a test automation framework from scratch , defining structure and best practices. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps build and release processes. Exposure to performance testing and security testing techniques and tools. Experience with U.S. Healthcare (Patient/Member, Provider, Claims, etc)
