Role Overview

Test Automation Engineer

embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute

  automated test scripts

  for the Admin Portal (UI and workflow validation).
• Perform

  API testing

  using Postman, Newman, or equivalent frameworks (REST/GraphQL APIs).
• Design

  test scenarios, test cases, and regression suites

  for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure

  test coverage is aligned with product requirements

  .
• Conduct

  functional, regression, and integration testing

  for web and backend systems.
• Ensure automated test cases are integrated into

  CI/CD pipelines

  for continuous validation.
• Track, log, and report

  defects and test coverage

  using standard QA tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Work with DevOps to support

  test execution in containerised/cloud environments

  .

Required Skills & Experience

• 46 years

  of professional experience in test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Selenium / Playwright / Cypress

  for web UI automation.
• Proven experience with

  API testing

  using Postman/Newman (or similar tools like RestAssured, Karate).
• Knowledge of

  JavaScript/TypeScript or Python

  for writing automated scripts.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of

  test design, regression strategies, and defect management

  .
• Ability to work in an

  agile environment

  and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to

  performance/load testing

  (JMeter, Locust).
• Familiarity with

  SQL/Postgres

  for backend test validation.
• Experience testing

  voice AI or agentic AI platforms

  .
• Knowledge of

  containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

  .
