Automation Test Engineer Lead

Job Description

Role & responsibilities (5 days work from office) Experience in testing L2/L3 protocols, GPON ONT and OLT Systems. Strong System test planning, execution and testing experience in validating PON ONT and OLT Systems. Strong technology focus and experience in networking technology areas that include PON, WLAN, Ethernet, Bridging and Routing. Good understanding in requirements of products and features. Strong understanding of test methodologies Strong technical abilities and comfort working with various software programs Should have strong troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills Written and verbal communication skills to successfully share their testing results. Ability to work well as part of a software development team Familiarity with testing processes, including creating a test plan and opening bugs Ability to handle fast-paced environments with tight deadlines Key Responsibilities:- Ability to write test plans based on the design documents and RFC standard. Develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts. Work closely with Dev team to understand the requirements for preparing the test plans and test execution. Perform various testing types - Integration, System, Functional, Acceptance and Regression testing etc. Develop and maintain QA artifacts, Analyze results and Log defects in Test Management tool like JIRA/Bugzilla/Redmine. Provide detailed report on the execution status and defects to the reporting Head. Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help support the development process. Ensure that project deliverables are met according to the specifications. Hands-on experience with debugging and traffic generator tools like wireshark, Veriwave, Spirent and IXIA.
