Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using
Cypress
for end-to-end testing of web applications [Functional and Regression].
Develop
API automation test cases
using Cypress and related tools.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across
Functional, Integration (SIT), End-to-End, Regression, and UAT
phases.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to interpret requirements and investigate issues.
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
(GitLab preferred).
Maintain test frameworks, configurations, and reusable components for scalability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Cypress
(including plugins, configuration, and project setup).
Proficiency in
JavaScript
with solid understanding of
OOP concepts
and mid-level
Data Structures & Algorithms
.
Experience in
API automation
using Cypress.
Familiarity with
YAML files
,
CI/CD pipelines
, and
GitLab
.
Basic exposure to
AWS
environments.
Good understanding of
SQL
for data validation.
Knowledge of
source code management
and version control (Git).
Understanding of
continuous integration and deployment practices
.

Experienced in working directly with client teams.
