Automation Test Engineer - API Testing

Role Overview: As an AccelQ Automation Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience, you will be joining our Bangalore-based team on a hybrid work model. Your main responsibility will be to utilize AccelQ automation tools and demonstrate expertise in manual and automated testing. Your role will involve designing and executing test cases, managing API testing, and supporting the testing lifecycle within an Agile environment. Attention to quality, detail, and troubleshooting skills are crucial for ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: - Perform various manual testing activities such as regression, sanity, integration, functional, and non-functional testing. - Develop and execute automated test cases using AccelQ. - Conduct API testing using tools like Postman. - Write and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. - Collaborate with Agile teams to seamlessly integrate testing efforts within sprints. - Conduct testing for mobile platforms including Android and iOS. - Utilize Jira for defect tracking, reporting, and test management. - Troubleshoot and debug issues during testing to identify root causes and propose solutions. - Monitor test execution and provide timely reports on testing progress and outcomes. - Document and present testing results and findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders. Qualification Required: - 6 to 8 years of experience in software testing focusing on manual and automation testing. - Mandatory experience with AccelQ automation tool. - Solid understanding of manual testing types like regression, sanity, integration, and functional/non-functional testing. - Hands-on experience in API testing and tools such as Postman. - Knowledge of mobile testing platforms for Android and iOS. - Strong experience working with Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools, specifically Jira. - Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. - Strong documentation and communication skills for creating test cases, plans, and presentations.,
