Job Overview:

QA Automation Engineer

Required Skills:

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in

  test automation

  using

  Python

• Solid experience with

  Pytest

  framework for writing and organizing tests.
• Good understanding of

  REST APIs

  and experience with API testing.
• Basic experience with

  version control systems

  like Git.
• Familiarity with

  Selenium

  or other UI testing tools (nice to have).
• Exposure to

  environments.
• Experience working in an

  Agile/Scrum

  environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with

  Allure

  or other test reporting tools.
• Knowledge of

  Docker

  and containers in test environments.
• Basic understanding of

  CI/CD

  tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of SQL and basic database testing.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team to understand requirements and write effective test cases.
• Perform

  API testing

  and data validation using tools like

  or Python libraries (e.g., requests).
• Debug test failures and report bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g.,

  JIRA

  ).
• Assist in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to regression, smoke, and sanity testing efforts.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular QA reports.
