Automation Lead/Architect(Webdriver IO/Cypress/Playwright)

As a Lead Quality Engineer within the enterprise product domain at UST, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. You will play a crucial role in guiding your squad through challenges, shaping quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the engineering organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver testing for the Product/Project/Platform team. - Lead Quality Engineers and coordinate required testing activities. - Define and/or implement testing approaches as agreed by the Principal Quality Engineer and/or Test Manager. - Analyze requirements and create necessary documentation such as Test Approaches and Test Plans. - Generate key reporting including Test Progress, Defects, Requirement/User Story Coverage, and Traceability. - Ensure Quality Engineering best practices and processes are applied. - Drive CI/CD practices and processes. - Perform hands-on test automation and manual test design and execution as needed. - Peer review documents and test scripts. - Manage defect/bug creation and lifecycle. - Utilize appropriate testing tools recommended by the Test Architect. - Identify mock/simulation requirements and collaborate with the Simulation Team. - Identify test data needs and facilitate creation as per the Test Data Strategy. - Manage stakeholders and highlight risks with mitigation strategies. - Actively participate in team ceremonies such as PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Demos, etc. - Coach and mentor Quality Engineers. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a Lead Quality Engineer or Senior QA in agile product, platform, or project teams. - Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring Quality Engineers. - Expertise in end-to-end testing strategies and test automation tools. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Redux, Redux Saga, and Node.js. - Experience testing distributed backend systems using AWS infrastructure, Redis, and DocumentDB. - Deep knowledge of modern test automation tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with test data strategy, environment management, and simulation tooling. - Strong collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
