Automation Lead/Architect(Webdriver IO)

As a Lead Quality Engineer within the enterprise product domain at UST, your role is crucial in embedding quality at the core of all software development activities. You will guide your squad through challenges, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software that meets functional and non-functional requirements. Your expertise will shape quality standards, influence technical decisions, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver testing for the Product/Project/Platform team. - Lead Quality Engineers and coordinate testing activities. - Define and implement testing approaches as per agreements. - Analyze requirements to determine necessary testing and challenge ambiguous requirements. - Create key documentation such as Test Approaches and Test Plans. - Generate key reporting including Test Progress, Defects, Requirement Coverage, etc. - Ensure application of Quality Engineering best practices and processes. - Drive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. - Perform hands-on test automation and manual test design and execution. - Peer review documents and test scripts. - Manage defect/bug creation and lifecycle. - Utilize appropriate testing tools recommended by the Test Architect. - Collaborate with the Simulation Team for mock/simulation requirements. - Facilitate test data creation as per the Test Data Strategy. - Manage stakeholders internally and externally. - Identify risks, dependencies, and plan mitigation strategies. - Actively participate in team ceremonies such as PI Planning, Sprint Planning, etc. - Coach and mentor Quality Engineers. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience as a Lead Quality Engineer or Senior QA in agile product teams. - Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding and mentoring Quality Engineers. - Expertise in designing and executing end-to-end testing strategies. - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with hands-on experience in React.js, Redux, Redux Saga, and Node.js. - Experience testing distributed backend systems using AWS infrastructure, Redis, and DocumentDB. - Deep knowledge of modern test automation tools and frameworks. - Experience with test virtualization and service mocking. - Skilled in using test management and reporting tools. - Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with test data strategy, environment management, and simulation tooling. - Strong collaboration skills with experience working closely with various stakeholders. - Active participant in Agile ceremonies with excellent communication skills. - Self-driven, proactive, and passionate about continuous improvement and test automation. **About UST:** UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that works with the world's leading companies to drive real impact through innovation.
