Automation Lead, AVP

As an experienced professional in testing automation within large, complex, client-facing transformation programs, you will play a crucial role in managing the central automation team and providing technical leadership to functional testers and delivery teams across front, middle, and back office applications. Your strong expertise in automation strategy and modern test tooling, including robotics and GenAI use cases, will be essential in operating across cloud-native and on-prem environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the Global head of automation to manage the central automation practice and partner with the global testing team utilizing automation - Designing, implementing, and maintaining a modular, reusable test automation framework centered on UiPath Test Suite, including RPA test automation and orchestrations - Leading the planning, design, and execution of all automation testing activities - Defining and promoting standards, tools, and best practices for test automation to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory standards - Mentoring automation engineers and functional testers to foster capability growth and continuous improvement To excel in this role, you should possess: - Hands-on expertise with UiPath Test Suite and familiarity with RPA/GenAI use cases in testing - Strong grounding in software engineering for tests, including Git, branching, code review, and dependency management - Experience automating API, UI, data, and workflow tests across cloud-native and on-prem systems - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving - Experience in agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, Confluence) - Knowledge of key risk indicators, governance, oversight, and escalation practices Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred - 15+ years of overall experience with 8+ years leading test automation/project teams - 10+ years of financial and/or technology transformation experience About State Street: State Street is a leading custodian bank, asset manager, and asset intelligence company globally.
