Automation Engineer

As an Automation Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications through designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. You will collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality software in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Java. - Design and implement test automation frameworks to support testing efforts. - Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software meets business requirements. - Collaborate with developers to identify testing requirements and bottlenecks in the development process. - Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management system. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test quality and improvements. - Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Requirements: - 3-5 years of experience in Automation Testing with proficiency in either Python or Java. - Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with version control tools such as Git. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. - Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
