Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for our state-of-the-art food processing machinery. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in industrial automation, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, program, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for automation of dal mill plants and food processing machinery. - Design and implement control systems, including sensors, actuators, and motors, ensuring optimal performance and safety. - Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate automation solutions into manufacturing processes. - Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of automated systems to ensure smooth operations. - Analyze process inefficiencies and propose enhancements to increase productivity and reduce downtime. - Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and post-installation stages. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. - Train operators and maintenance personnel on automated systems and software. - Stay updated with emerging technologies in industrial automation and recommend adoption to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in industrial automation, preferably in food processing or similar industries. - Hands-on expertise with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI, and SCADA systems. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, and actuators. - Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus). - Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical and control schematics. - Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in automation for food processing machinery. - Familiarity with robotics and AI applications in manufacturing. - Certification in automation tools and platforms.
