Automation Engineer (Mobile & Web)

The Automation Tester plays a crucial role in automating and maintaining business line projects, including regression tests for mobile and web-based applications and APIs. As an Automation Tester, you will be responsible for test automation using tools such as Selenium, APPIUM, and Cucumber. You will develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts following the enterprise Automation Framework standard. Additionally, you may be required to perform manual test execution when needed by creating and managing test sets. Experience in CI/CD is essential for this role, as you will need to provide technical assistance to other Automation Engineers regarding the enterprise Automation Framework. You will assess automation feasibility for functional test cases and provide test automation status and execution results to the Test Lead, Test manager, and other project team members. Collaboration with QA team members, developers, and other project team members in an agile environment is also a key aspect of this role. In terms of contributing responsibilities, the ideal candidate should have experience in using Java and Automation Scripting with Selenium, APPIUM, and Cucumber. Familiarity with CSS, HTML, Node.js, and Angular JS is necessary. Proficiency in Java, CI/CD, GitLab, Nexus, and JIRA-XRay is crucial. Strong communication skills, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, are required for success in this role. The Automation Tester should possess thorough knowledge of key testing areas, especially functional testing and test automation. Specific qualifications for this position include at least 5+ years of IT Software QA/Testing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in test automation using Selenium, Appium, and API. Experience in the BFSI domain, particularly in Personal finance/Lending, would be advantageous. Hands-on experience with Java, a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are also essential requirements for this position.,
