As an Automation Engineer specializing in IoT Embedded Systems, your role will involve leading the development and deployment of IoT solutions for smart medical diagnostic platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing complete IoT systems, encompassing embedded firmware, hardware, and cloud integration. - Selecting suitable IoT platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT based on application requirements. - Developing a scalable, secure, and reliable system architecture. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as R&D, electronics, and product management. - Ensuring system compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity standards. - Writing and debugging firmware for microcontrollers, sensors, and gateways. - Implementing communication protocols like MQTT, WebSockets, CoAP, and REST APIs. - Designing and prototyping hardware, including PCBs, edge devices, and wireless modules. - Working with vendors and manufacturers for production, testing, and quality assurance. - Adhering to international standards such as FCC and CE. - Optimizing systems for low-power operations and efficient wireless communication (Wi-Fi, LoRa, Cellular). - Developing backend services for data acquisition, processing, and analytics. - Building and managing data pipelines and integrating time-series databases like InfluxDB. - Developing real-time analytics and integrating predictive models using machine learning. - Creating dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Grafana, Tableau, or Power BI. Qualifications for this role include: - Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and communication standards. - Experience with embedded systems and wireless communication (BLE, Zigbee, LoRa, Wi-Fi). - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Java. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IoT-specific services. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IoT systems. - Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and time-series databases. - Familiarity with tools and platforms for real-time analytics and machine learning. - Strong understanding of IoT hardware development, from component selection to PCB design. - Experience with data visualization tools for monitoring and reporting.
