Description
You are a highly skilled Automation Architect with expertise in Tosca, responsible for leading the automation strategy and execution for enterprise-level applications. Your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks using Tosca, while driving automation initiatives that support large-scale digital transformations. Your key responsibilities include defining, developing, and implementing automation architecture and strategies leveraging Tricentis Tosca for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. You will design and build scalable, maintainable, and reusable test automation frameworks to support enterprise applications and systems. Leading the development of automated test scripts using Tosca to ensure comprehensive test coverage across different modules is also a crucial aspect of your role. Collaboration with development teams, QA teams, and business stakeholders to identify test automation opportunities and ensure alignment with overall project goals is essential. You will oversee the execution of automated test suites, analyze results, and ensure accuracy and consistency of test outcomes. Integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) to enable continuous testing across different environments is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide leadership and mentoring to junior automation engineers and QA teams on Tosca best practices and framework development. Troubleshooting and resolving complex automation challenges with minimal manual intervention will be required. Staying current with industry trends in automation, testing tools, and best practices is crucial for continuously improving the automation framework. You will engage in test planning, test strategy discussions, and participate in project and release meetings to ensure test automation is well integrated within the SDLC. Required Skills: - 10+ years of experience in software test automation, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Tosca automation tool. - Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Tosca for complex applications. - Strong knowledge of Tosca's key modules such as Tosca Commander, Tosca BI, Tosca Orchestrator, and Tosca Continuous Testing. - Experience in automating web, desktop, and mobile applications using Tosca. - Expertise in API testing and UI testing automation using Tosca. - Strong experience with integrating Tosca automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab). - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize automation frameworks. - Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams, business users, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications: - Tosca certification (e.g., Tosca Automation Specialist, Tosca Architect). - Experience with SAP automation using Tosca. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure). - Exposure to other automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or TestComplete is a plus. - Experience with test data management and test environments in large enterprises.
