As an Automation & CCTV Technician at our company based in Malappuram, your role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation systems and CCTV surveillance solutions. Your expertise in ELV systems, security systems, and networking will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of these systems. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain both IP and Analog CCTV cameras - Perform installation and troubleshooting of home/office automation systems - Set up and configure DVR/NVR systems, as well as integrate remote viewing capabilities - Handle structured cabling, termination, and testing - Install and set up access control, biometric systems, and alarm systems - Diagnose and rectify system faults and network-related issues - Conduct preventive maintenance to uphold system uptime - Collaborate with clients and internal teams for efficient project execution - Maintain detailed service reports and completion documentation Required Skills: - Proficiency in CCTV system installation and configuration - Hands-on experience with automation and smart home devices - Basic understanding of networking principles including LAN/WAN, routers, and IP configuration - Skills in cable routing, crimping, and termination - Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities - Excellent communication and customer-handling skills Qualifications: - Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a related field - Minimum of 1 year experience in CCTV, Automation, or ELV systems - Possession of a valid two-wheeler license (preferred) In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will enjoy benefits such as a competitive salary with allowances, support for training and certifications, opportunities for career growth, and a friendly work environment.
