Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare

  AutoCAD drawings

  and detailed design drafts for

  solar park layouts, solar MMS structures

  , foundations, frames, and supporting steelwork.
• Translate conceptual sketches, site requirements, and engineering notes into precise technical drawings.
• Work closely with the engineering team to revise designs based on structural requirements, site conditions, load calculations and manufacturing standards.
• Generate and update fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and layout plans.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and best practices for solar mounting & structural steel.
• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and clarify technical questions.
• Assist in site visits when required to capture as-built conditions and support modifications in drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience

  in structural design drafting, preferably in the

  solar energy / solar mounting structures industry

  or heavy steel structures.
• Strong expertise in

  AutoCAD (2D & 3D drafting)

  — ability to produce clear, detailed technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of

  solar park layouts

  , mounting system components, structural steel details, and fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of steel sections, joint detailing, and drawing conventions used in solar MMS or structural design.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
• Prior exposure to design coordination with production/fabrication is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or relevant discipline.
