Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer / Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise 2D/3D layouts and technical drawings for various fire protection systems such as fire hydrants, fire alarm systems, sprinklers, and smoke detectors.
Key Responsibilities:Create and revise AutoCAD drawings based on fire protection project requirementsRead and interpret MEP, architectural, and structural layoutsCoordinate with engineers and site teams to modify and update designsMaintain drawing logs, revision records, and documentation registersEnsure all drawings comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specs
Required Qualifications:Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field23 years of drafting experience in MEP, piping, or fire protection systemsProficient in AutoCAD 2D (Revit knowledge is an added advantage)Ability to read technical drawings and construction plansGood communication and coordination skills
