AutoCAD Draughtsman/woman

The role involves creating technical drawings to generate 2D and 3D designs for buildings, structures, machines, and other components. You will be responsible for converting rough sketches, verbal instructions, and client notes into detailed technical drawings. In addition, you will revise and update drawings based on new requirements from the engineering team. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project specifications is a key aspect of this role. You will also be preparing documentation, reports, and bills of materials related to the designs. Collaborating with engineers, architects, project managers, and other professionals is essential to ensure a smooth workflow and project completion. It is important to stay updated with the latest CAD software, design trends, and industry standards. Having a good understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to analyze technical information is crucial. Effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with teams effectively. The role also requires the ability to identify and resolve issues in designs. Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines will be a significant part of the job. A degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field is required, along with specialized training in CAD software and related tools.
