Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare
detailed CAD drawings
for fabrication based on project requirements.
Review and interpret
client drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
.
Create
general arrangement (GA) drawings
,
shop drawings
, and
as-built drawings
.
Coordinate with the
design, production, and QA teams
to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
Make
revisions and updates
to drawings as per client or internal feedback.
Maintain drawing records and ensure proper
filing and document control
.
Assist in developing
standard drawing templates
and
library blocks
for recurring components.
Work closely with engineers to identify and resolve drawing-related discrepancies.
Support estimation and proposal teams with preliminary drawings when required.

Preferred candidate profile

BE/ Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Drafting or equivalent.
2-5 years of experience
in CAD drafting (preferably in Steel Fabrication/ Gratings/ FRP industry).
Proficient in
AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
and basic knowledge of other drafting software (Tekal) is an advantage.
Good understanding of
fabrication and assembly processes
.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
