Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our engineering team. Candidates with a background in the flexible packaging industry will be given preference. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing engineering drawings, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting our design and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and assemblies using AutoCAD software. Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and related data to develop accurate drawings for manufacturing. Collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturability of designs. Revise and update existing drawings as required, maintaining version control and drawing documentation. Conduct quality checks on all drawings before final release. Maintain a library of design drawings and ensure compliance with company standards. Assist in the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other technical documentation. Participate in project team meetings and contribute to design discussions. (Bonus) Apply industry knowledge of flexible packaging equipment, layouts, and manufacturing processes. (Added Advantage) Utilize Solid Edge software for 3D modeling and design when required.
