AutoCAD Draftsman (2D & 3D)

Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Drafting

• Develop

  2D drawings

  ,including plans, elevations, sections, and detailing.
• Prepare

  3D models

  using AutoCAD for visualization and coordination.
• Create

  stone cutting drawings

  , edge profiles, grooves, kerfs, and finish details as required.
• Produce

  fabrication/shop drawings

  for manufacturing.
• Draft

  fixing and installation details

  for wall cladding, flooring, countertops, staircases, etc.

2. Coordination & Documentation

• Interpret and convert architectural, structural, and ID drawings into production-ready formats.
• Coordinate with

  project managers, engineers, architects, and site teams

  to clarify requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on client, consultant, or site feedback.
• Maintain

  drawing records, revision logs, and proper file organization

  as per company standards.

3. Measurement & Site Support

• Read and interpret

  site measurements, BOQs, and technical inputs

  .
• Prepare

  site measurements drawings

  of work.
• Assist in material quantification and layout optimization to reduce wastage.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong command of

  AutoCAD 2D & 3D

  (mandatory).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of stone/marble detailing, joinery, fixing methods (preferred).
• Understanding of scaling, dimensioning, tolerances, and construction terminology.
• Basic knowledge of

  SketchUp / Rhino / SolidWorks

  is an added advantage.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in

  Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design

  , Draftsman or related field.
• Professional certification in AutoCAD is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following will be highly valued:

• Marble/Granite/Stone fabrication drawings, & installation drawings
• Architectural or interior fit-out projects
• Shop drawings for countertops, flooring, cladding, vanity tops, staircase, temples.
