Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location : Korattur, Chennai Experience: 2 to 3 Years Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for our plating plant and equipment manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial equipment design with hands-on experience in creating 2D and 3D models , preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) , and customizing designs based on client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop 2D & 3D mechanical drawings for plating plant equipment Prepare accurate BOMs for custom equipment manufacturing Modify and adapt designs based on client-specific needs and layout constraints Coordinate with the production and purchase team to ensure design feasibility Understand technical specifications and support in prototype development Required Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication processes Knowledge of PP, FRP, MS, SS equipment design preferred Ability to work independently and meet project timelines Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field Send your resume to marketing@srisaielectroplatingautomation.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Life insurance Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Korattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Required) Work Location: In person
