Australian Accounting standards

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain

  financial statements

  in compliance with Australian accounting and taxation laws.
• Manage

  GST, BAS, FBT, CGT, and Payroll tax

  requirements.
• Handle

  individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax returns

  .
• Conduct

  audit support activities

  , ensuring adherence to Australian standards.
• Reconcile accounts, process journals, and manage bookkeeping.
  
• Utilize

  Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks

  effectively for accounting and reporting.
• Support client engagements, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide

  advisory on tax and accounting matters

Key Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce

  (CA, CPA, or pursuing preferred).

• 3 to 10 years’ experience

  in Australian Accounting, Taxation, and Audit.
• Strong knowledge of

  Australian taxation legislation

  .
• Proficiency in

  Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks

  ; experience with other tools like Reckon or APS is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a deadline-driven environment.
