Audit Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Assistant to join our team and support audit activities at our client locations in Peenya Industrial Area . The ideal candidate will assist in conducting statutory, internal, and compliance audits under the guidance of senior auditors.\ Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting statutory and internal audits at client premises. Verify accounting records, systems, and supporting documents. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Collect and analyze data to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Prepare audit documentation and working papers in accordance with audit standards. Interact with client staff for information gathering and clarification. Report audit findings and discrepancies to senior audit staff. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of client information. Travel to client locations within Peenya as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or related field. Pursuing CA, CMA, or any professional certification (preferred). Basic knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and audit procedures. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally or similar). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to work at client locations in Peenya on a regular basis.
