Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic Starguide to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality astronomy experiences to our guests, including interactive workshops, telescope viewing sessions (Celestial Shows), and guided tours of our product and experience centres (Museum Shows).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct astronomy shows and workshops for guests.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Assist in marketing and promoting Starscapes’ programs and experiences.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new programs and engaging content.
• Maintain and manage equipment and product materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Science Education, or related field is preferred.
• Passion for astronomy with a strong desire to educate and inspire others.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in Hindi and English is required; knowledge of Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam is a plus.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences, including children and high-profile guests.
• Willingness to learn continuously and explore deeper aspects of astronomy.
• Ability to travel to different locations for learning programs and events.
• Previous experience in public speaking, education, or tourism is a plus.
• Comfort working outdoors and during evening hours.
• Basic proficiency in Excel for data management.
• Willing to stay at different locations like Mukteshwar, Kausani, Goa, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Ramnagar, etc.

NOTE: The candidate will be on a training period of 1 month and will be paid Rs. 5000/- per month, until he/she successfully completes the training and qualifies in the test. The final employment will be decided after successful passing of the test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,500.00 per month
