Job Summary:

The Subject Matter Resource (SMR) will provide critical insights into the operations of the WAMapps, leveraging strong audit, analytical skills and business acumen to support the firm's strategic initiatives driven by the product.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing meaningful insight about the operations of the WAM audit practice and make the appropriate recommendations to WAMapps.
• Expected to understand the data provided by the client via PBC, which flows into WAMapps outputs and is eventually reported in the Financial Statements, along with the associated nuances. Additionally, expected to trace breaks in data transformed by WAMapps from the PBC files, helping to provide audit notes for the auditors to use as a starting point for taking actions while utilizing WAMapps outputs.
• Should be able to prepare and review documentation required for addressing risks during the certification (global/local) of the product on a regular basis.
• To have knowledge of using SWPs and to be part of the integration efforts of WAMapps data being pre-populated into the firm's published SWPs.
• Understanding and applying knowledge of the firm’s business, organizational structure, and operations to effectively identify opportunities to support the firm’s strategy and key initiatives.
• Applying understanding of audit process and - technology enablement knowledge to analyses - and solve audit issues.
• Ability to establish relationships and collaborate to gather information from appropriate sources and assist in the creation of different alternatives/scenarios to contribute to key decision-making.

Supervision Responsibilities:

• Work independently while partnering with team members.
• Direct oversight is not required, except for the Self-Onboarding Managed Service scenario, where the Manager is required to examine the outputs generated by WAMapps for any managed service projects prior to the distribution of the final workpapers to the audit team.
