Your role might involve analyzing the impact of new regulations on an insurance company's balance sheet, revising business projections, and ensuring adequate reserves are in place. As a Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced insurance underwriting business analyst to join our team. Your primary role will involve preparing insurance underwriting and pricing business requirements for conversion to modern cloud-based technology. You will work with clients, review existing rating and underwriting processes and rules, and document new underwriting and rating rules based on your knowledge of insurance products and rating formulas. Additionally, you may be involved in consulting projects related to financial reporting, capital reporting, product pricing, mergers and acquisitions, and operational and organizational consulting. Key characteristics of the role include preparing deliverables within deadlines, active participation in team and client discussions, keeping leadership informed of progress, demonstrating creative thinking and initiative, and contributing to technical acumen development. You must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics, along with 1 to 6 years of work experience. Strong communication skills, teamwork dynamics, and the ability to learn new processes are essential for this role. Requirements also include demonstrated success with advisory agencies, project activities, insurance business applications, and relevant certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and knowledge of Data Analytics tools like Python and SQL are preferred. Fluent written and verbal English communication skills are necessary, along with a strong preference for a working schedule from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm IST.,
