Assurance FAAS - Staff

As a Senior in the Quantitative and Commodities Center at EY, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on risk management modeling, portfolio analysis, valuation, and data science activities. Your role will involve developing new financial models and analytics to meet clients" needs, covering a range of commodities and commercial objectives. You will be part of a team of quantitative and commodities professionals with significant industry experience, providing you with opportunities to learn and develop your quantitative skills. Key Responsibilities: - Advise clients on advanced practices and market behavior using a commercial industry perspective - Develop quantitative financial models for commodity and financial contracts, implementing market factor simulation techniques and stochastic methods - Enhance proprietary valuation models and leverage machine learning techniques for analysis on commodity instruments - Present results internally and externally using modern data visualization tools - Write client reports describing work performed, recommendations, and outcomes - Problem solve under uncertainty to adapt existing approaches to new markets and client objectives - Work collaboratively in teams and independently with an adaptive, flexible approach to problem-solving Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with two years of related work experience or graduate degree with one year of related work experience in quantitative disciplines - Proficiency in VBA programming, R or Python programming, and Microsoft Excel - Familiarity with derivatives pricing models, market factor simulation techniques, and numerical methods - Strong interest in financial and commodity markets - Ability to work within budget and schedule in a fast-paced environment - Strong work ethic, communication skills, and willingness to embrace new challenges - Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally - Completion of an approved certification within 2 years of hiring At EY, the focus is on building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society while fostering trust in the capital markets.
