We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor with 5-6 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will support the senior quantity surveyor in managing project costs, preparing estimates, and ensuring effective financial management throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements. Prepare and maintain accurate records of project costs and budgets. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutions. Review and analyze drawings and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Assist in the negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare regular reports on project progress and financial status. Support the senior quantity surveyor in all aspects of the project lifecycle. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam). Strong understanding of construction methods and materials. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work. Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations.
