Asst. Manager/Manager Production (Cosmetic Manufacturing )

Education Requirements

• Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or Industrial Engineering
• For senior roles: Master’s in Cosmetic Science, Operations Management, or MBA in Production/Operations can be a plus
• Acceptable Alternative:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Production Engineering + 5–10 years of specific cosmetic or personal care manufacturing experience

. Experience Requirements

• Years: Typically 8–15 years total manufacturing experience, with minimum 5 years in cosmetics or personal care production at a supervisory or managerial level
• Industry Experience:
• Skincare, haircare, makeup, or personal hygiene product manufacturing
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and cosmetic regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EU, BIS in India)
• Key Skills to Look For:
• Managing large production teams (operators, supervisors)
• Scheduling and capacity planning
• Raw material handling (especially cosmetic-grade chemicals)
• Batch processing & filling line operations
• Quality control coordination
• Troubleshooting production issues quickly
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in cosmetics

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
