About the Role

This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that align with customer specifications and are delivered within committed timelines. The role requires efficient coordination of manpower, material resources, and strict quality checks for skid/valve assembly projects, yard-related work, and global support activities. The position also involves close collaboration with regional OSM shops, adherence to company policies and values, and providing engineering estimation support via the India Hub.

Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Drive 100% manpower utilization across all customizations and yard-related projects.
  • Perform 100% quality checks on all assemblies before submitting them to QC and customers.
  • Uphold and enforce corporate policies and values.
  • Provide drafting and estimation support for sales team via the India Engineering Hub.
  • Ensure all project drawings are received, reviewed, and fully understood; assess feasibility and define BOQ and required hours.
  • Execute customization orders within budget and timelines while ensuring quality and proper documentation.
  • Create and distribute weekly reports on customization activity to Plant Manager and Sales Managers.
  • Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure raw material availability; follow up with the purchase team to meet project requirements.
  • Supervise plant operations and customization activities by optimizing manpower; conduct training on jointing technologies.
  • Manage maintenance of machinery and tools; ensure calibration of measuring instruments.
  • Maintain up-to-date ISO documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Train external parties as needed and provide on-site support for special customer requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment while supporting global piping estimation and spool design projects.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Plastic/Chemical or relevant discipline).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, preferably in plastic piping systems.
  • Strong understanding of plastic piping systems and jointing technologies (e.g., butt fusion, electrofusion).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of 2D/3D engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and relationship building across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
