Main objectives Direct procurement of production related material Supplier / vendor management Cost savings Responsibilities Purchase Domestic Prepare purchase orders for local vendors for raw material, consumables, capital goods etc. by negotiating with various vendors. Maintain standard costing with cost breakup Track raw material cost, new sources, cost optimization etc. Provide and maintain purchase requisition data Vendor Development Vendor selection, comparison, development for various raw material, consumables and capital goods to achieve maximum efficiency w.r.t. delivery, quality and pricing Align the vendors with GF guidelines & code of conduct Periodical vendor assessment Intercompany Transaction Prepare purchase orders for intercompany vendors as per transfer pricing in co-ordination with internal stake holders. Handling plant related purchases related to functions like maintenance, customization, mould room, quality, admin Production sub-contracting, Transport contracts Preferred candidate profile Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Responsibilities Responsible for overall product quality Responsible for online & final inspection Responsible for receiving material inspection Prepare documents as per internal requirements and approved QAP for TPI. Maintain internal documents as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Handle customer complaints if any. Oversee if manufacturing processes are followed and adhered to as per SOP Main Tasks: 1.Conduct required tests to confirm the quality of the products (e.g. Hydrotest, Dimensional checking etc.). Read and understand the drawings of spool/header/valve assemblies and report proactively about any issues to concerned department. 2. Maintain and retain documented information about test protocols and ISO documentation as per the document retention period 3. Maintain equipment and instruments in proper working conditions and get periodic calibration done. 4. Complete Third-Party Inspections as per approved QAP. 5. To keep safety of self, others and equipment while working, maintain discipline and good behavior in the company. 6. Oversee the manufacturing operations so that the operators follow the correct manufacturing process in adherence to the SOP. 7. Ensure that Packing & loading of GF finished products are in line with GF Standards and operating practices 8. Will be the chief coordinator between our warehousing service provider and GF SCM team for smooth commercial operations Preferred candidate profile 1. Technical Skills regarding Valve assemblies (Both Valves and Actuators) 2. Trained ISO professionals would be an added advantage 3. Good communication skills 4. Proactive reporting 4. About the role To meet sales target for Infrastructure Segment from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.
