ISDM&aposs Initiatives Encompass

  • Knowledge Creation: Establishing a Global Knowledge Hub to create, disseminate, and institutionalize contextual knowledge on building, leading, and managing social purpose organizations, networks, and platforms.
  • Talent Nurturing: Offering the Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGP-DM) to attract and develop top-tier talent capable of addressing management challenges within the sector.
  • Capacity Building: Providing Strategic Capacity Building programs to enhance individual and institutional capacities in development management, thereby fostering sustainable and scalable social impact.
ISDM has successfully completed its Proof of Concept Phase and is now set for expansion over the next five years. Key achievements include high placement rates for its PGP-DM graduates and plans for increased batch sizes, a new campus, international partnerships, and accreditation. The institute is also conducting research and establishing Centers of Excellence in various areas of social impact. Know More at www.isdm.org.in .ISDM invites individuals who share its vision to join in creating a dynamic, catalytic ecosystem and positioning India as a thought leader in Development Management, ultimately enabling sustainable social impact at scale.As a key member of the SCB team, the Senior Associate/Associate Partnerships & Outreach will be responsible for leading and executing SCBs partnerships strategy, business development efforts and internal and external communication management. This includes identifying high-potential collaborators, setting up strategic conversations, nurturing leads, and building robust funnels for long-term engagement, and managing all communications for SCB. The role requires a proactive approach to outreach, relationship management, and direct marketing to help expand SCBs network and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Business Development
  • Proactively identify and generate new leads across academic institutions, NGOs, government bodies, and other relevant partners.
  • Build and manage a strong funnel of prospects to drive SCBs partnership and growth goals.
  • Set up and facilitate high-value conversations with potential partners, donors, and collaborators.
  • Partnership Development & Management
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies to build long-term partnerships.
  • Create compelling value propositions tailored to the needs of potential collaborators.
  • Maintain relationships through consistent communication, follow-ups, and progress tracking.
  • Outreach & Direct Marketing
  • Design and implement targeted outreach campaigns to promote SCB&aposs initiatives.
  • Draft and manage direct communication materials such as emailers, presentations, and outreach content.
  • Support event-based outreach, including webinars, info sessions, and networking meets.
  • Funnel Strategy & Tracking
  • Develop and refine the outreach and BD funnel for SCB, ensuring clear metrics and tracking systems.
  • Analyse engagement data and conversion trends to continuously improve BD outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of outreach activities with organisational objectives.
  • External Communication Management
  • Content strategy and creation for external channels including writing and editing for blog posts, newsletters, success stories, case studies.
  • Social media management of SCBs presence across platforms (LI, Insta, FB, YouTube) includes creating content with inputs from program teams, monitoring conversations and analysing effectiveness of marketing reach and engagement via the channels
  • Brochure and collateral development includes design and curation of all program related marketing collaterals (brochures, flyers, presentations, website content etc.) in line with ISDM brand guidelines
  • Scan for outreach opportunities for SCB via speaking opportunities, panel conversations, awards et al to raise visibility of SCB and its offerings for the ecosystem.
  • Internal Communication Management
  • Intra-team collaboration within SCB program teams to co-create comms and ensure alignment of messaging across platforms and channels.
  • Inter-team collaboration with Marcomm and SCB program teams to share requests, priorities, and support to ensure seamless creation, reviews and delivery of program requirements.
  • Track SCB updates internally for all stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Tracking
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring and reporting of Marketing KPIs for SCB
  • Report on campaign effectiveness and reach to program team and senior leadership
  • Ensure appropriate feedback loop to internal stakeholders to refine and improve upon comm strategies
  • Tracking and reporting of all BD funnel, conversations, outreach and comms periodically with all stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications And Experience Required

  • 4-6 years of experience in partnerships, outreach, business development, or admissions-related roles and communication management.
  • Strong background in lead generation and partnership management.
  • Experience working or interning in outreach or admissions-related projects is highly desirable.
  • Experience in creating social media campaigns, monitoring effectiveness and reporting of the same.
  • Masters degree preferred; fields such as Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, or related disciplines are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and follow-through.
  • Creativity combined with new ideas to engage audiences through social media, stories, case studies.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to change, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Technical skills: MS Office, Canva, Video and photo editing software such as Adobe and CMS tool is desirable
