Your role will involve helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. In the tax compliance department, your responsibilities will include ensuring clients" compliance with tax laws and regulations. This will entail reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. If you are working in local tax at PwC, your responsibilities will revolve around offering advice and guidance to clients on local tax matters. This will involve analyzing and interpreting tax laws and regulations, helping businesses comply with tax requirements, and optimizing their tax positions. To excel in this role, you are expected to demonstrate: - Strong knowledge of accounting and finance. - Preparation of tax returns, Schedule K-1's, supplemental forms, and basic/moderate tax workpapers. - Preparation/review of RIC tax compliance and provisions. - Basic understanding of relevant tax and accounting concepts. - Validation and analysis of data for accuracy and relevance. - Keeping up-to-date with tax technical and technology developments. - Self-reviewing work for accuracy of deliverables. - Utilizing available tools in the Digital lab to enhance efficiency. - Active participation in engagement trainings and calls (kick-off, status, wrap-up). Qualifications and requirements for this position include a graduation in commerce or post-graduation in accounting and finance, 0-2 years of experience, active listening and effective communication skills, commitment to diversity and inclusiveness, a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and the ability to work as part of a team. Additionally, the role demands adaptability, flexibility to work extended hours when necessary, and achieving the target utilization set by the firm. For progression to a Manager role in Tax at PwC, you must hold an active primary credential, such as a US CPA or foreign equivalent, US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body, or a Firm-approved Secondary Credential. Candidates in the process of obtaining the credential must submit and maintain it up to date once onboarded. Continuing professional development, active participation in training, adherence to risk management and compliance procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs are also essential aspects of this role.,
