Associate Vice President - Data

As an Associate Vice President Data at Gurgaon location, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of data analysts, data scientists, ML engineers, and BI specialists. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and deploying predictive algorithms and models for various purposes such as credit risk, fraud detection, customer lifetime value, propensity, churn, personalization, and pricing. - Implementing frameworks for continuous learning and model retraining using live/trainable datasets, feedback loops, and model monitoring. - Overseeing data pipelines, feature engineering, data ingestion, storage, processing while ensuring data quality, governance, security, and privacy compliance. - Building internal AI/ML capabilities including MLOps infrastructure, model versioning, drift detection, experimentation, and real-time inference when needed. - Leading innovation in AI use cases to enhance user experience and operational efficiency, such as smart assistants, GenAI applications, recommender systems, and anomaly detection. - Providing insights and reporting to steer key business metrics like growth, margins, risk, retention, and monetization. Qualifications required for this role: - 14-18 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Analytics, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership positions. - Exposure to ML frameworks and libraries (Python, TensorFlow / PyTorch / scikitlearn, etc.), SQL, and big data tools/platforms (Spark / Hadoop / cloud data services). - Experience in deploying models in production, monitoring their performance, addressing model drift, and ensuring scalability and reliability. - Proficiency in setting up MLOps / AI infrastructure, model versioning, feature stores, experiments / A/B testing frameworks. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with ambiguous requirements to deliver results under deadlines. - Capability to collaborate with senior leadership, influence cross-functional teams effectively.
