Associate Technical Architect

As a part of DataWeave's Product Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining advanced sales optimization solutions for Digital Commerce businesses, consumer brands, delivery intermediaries, and marketplaces. Our machine learning-enabled SaaS platform caters to over 400 global brands and retailers, providing them with actionable insights through Digital Shelf Analytics and Dynamic Pricing solutions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the quality of code developed by the team, overseeing the delivery of solutions into production, and mentoring developers while contributing to capacity planning and career development. Collaborating with technical project management, you will prioritize tasks and maintain a structured schedule for the team's projects. Additionally, you will be involved in making architectural decisions alongside engineering leadership and offering technical guidance to multiple software engineering teams, both in-office and remotely. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in core software development, with a focus on building data products within product-based companies. Your expertise in architecting solutions for server-side web applications, REST APIs, and microservices will be essential, along with strong proficiency in Python and related technologies. Experience with Databases such as MySQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB), Postgres, and HBase, as well as familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Airflow, will be beneficial. You should be adept at creating technical documents, implementing Continuous Integration and Delivery processes, and managing Cloud infrastructure for application deployment and scalability. Knowledge of data pipelines, distributed message queues, DB Index Management, and Performance tuning will be advantageous.
