Associate Technical Architect / Tech Lead

As a Technical Lead at DataWeave, you will be a key player in our cutting-edge AI-powered digital commerce analytics platform. Your role will involve leading an engineering team, influencing architectural direction, and accelerating software delivery through AI-assisted development. You will have the opportunity to design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based architectures running on Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance. Your responsibilities will include driving the adoption of AI-powered development tools, performing design and code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical direction with business goals. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience building and scaling distributed systems in production. A strong background in microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems is essential. You should also have proven experience managing and operating Kubernetes clusters in production environments, along with a deep understanding of distributed systems concepts. Proficiency in at least two core programming languages, such as Python and Node.js, is required. Experience using AI-assisted tools for code generation, static analysis, and automation will be beneficial. A strong grasp of cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, and familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry are also important.
