Job Description

The Associate/Team Manager Operations is responsible for the calculation, analysis, and reporting of monthly performance attributions, in coordination with portfolio management and other reporting recipients. You will be required to perform calculations of performance metrics and explain the findings and underlying methodology to Relationship Managers and institutional clients. Furthermore, you will define procedures and operating processes in accordance with regulatory/industry/functional specifications, with a focus on continuous process improvement. It is essential to measure, manage, and articulate potential procedural risks, and define appropriate actions for mitigation and long-term avoidance. This role involves ensuring knowledge transfer and setting up processes as an individual contributor. Key responsibilities include performing performance attributions, explaining findings to stakeholders, defining procedures, managing procedural risks, ensuring policy compliance, completing projects successfully, suggesting/implementing process improvements, collaborating with global leads, and providing structured reporting services. Additionally, you will engage in talent development, collaboration with onshore colleagues and key stakeholders, foster a culture of teamwork, and partner with sub-function colleagues to enhance processes. Compliance and control are crucial aspects of this role, where a positive growth mindset is essential. The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of exposure to performance attribution analysis, professional certifications such as CFA/CIPM, understanding of Asset Management Operations, knowledge of applications like Aladdin and Bloomberg, and experience in setting up teams and transitioning work. The ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility in working hours, and a team-player mindset are also required.
