Associate / Specialist, Software Technology

In this role as a Software Engineer at KLA, you will be working on the OMD division's ATL software. Your responsibilities will include acquiring and demonstrating technical knowledge of the OMD product software, performing requirements analysis, software design, development, and unit testing. You will also participate in requirements definition and review processes, provide technical assessment of changes to product requirements, and contribute to the improvement of the organization's development procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that detailed designs, code, and unit tests are consistent, robust, future-proof, and scalable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of OMD product software. - Perform requirements analysis, software design, development, and unit testing. - Participate in requirements definition and review process. - Provide technical expertise to the estimation process as input to the project plan. - Follow KLA defined software development processes. - Understand and make changes to existing software. - Contribute to the continued improvement of the organization's development procedures. - Ensure that detailed designs, code, and unit tests are consistent, robust, future-proof, and scalable. **Qualifications Required:** - Preferred: BE/BS/BTech degree with 8 or more years of SW experience. - Required: Strong in programming fundamentals, experience in .Net and C#/WPF. - Required: Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering. - Required: Experience in analysis, design, development, and unit testing. - Required: Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with the ability to move cleanly from theoretical to implementation thinking. - Optional: Knowledge of KLA specific or general semiconductor domain.
