Associate, QA & Testing, WRB Tech

As an Agile Test Engineer at Standard Chartered, you will be responsible for reviewing product design documentation to ensure the correctness and verifiability of requirements. You will collect inputs and define test strategies and planning, including various types of testing, project scope, risk assessment, and dependencies. Additionally, you will need to possess a strong knowledge of Java, Automated testing, API automation using tools like RestAssured and API client, Gherkin/Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, API testing, RDBMS, JMeter performance scripting, and Ruby. Embedded within a scrum team, you will continuously test solutions to detect bugs early on and report them according to defined procedures. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams in agile development, contribute to product evolution and knowledge management, and support process improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and drive excellence in delivery. The ideal candidate for this role should have a sound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Moreover, you should have hands-on experience in software development and testing using Agile methodologies, as well as knowledge and experience in practicing Agile and Lean frameworks, API, SQL, Java programming, Selenium Automation, Cucumber, TestNg, and Performance Testing. With more than 7 years of experience in the software testing domain, you will be expected to advocate delivery excellence, minimize delivery risk, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Your role-specific technical competencies should include Automation Testing (Selenium/Cucumber/TestNg), API Automation Testing (RestAssured/APIClient), API Testing, Database Technologies (SQL, NoSQL), Integration Technologies, Agile Methodologies, Lean Framework, and Web & Mobile app skills.
