Techila is expanding its Quality Engineering team and looking for a highly skilled Associate QA Lead to drive QA strategy, automation, and delivery excellence across large-scale digital platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on testing expertise along with leadership experience in guiding teams toward high-quality, on-time releases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 68 years of experience in manual, automation, mobile, and API testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium (web automation) and Appium (mobile automation).
• Strong programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with tools like Postman/RestAssured for API testing.
• Working knowledge of BrowserStack / LambdaTest or equivalent platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• ISTQB certification preferred (not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities:

1. QA Leadership

• Lead a team of QA engineers across multiple PODs and ensure adherence to QA standards.
• Define and execute QA strategies across functional, non-functional, mobile, web, and API testing.
• Manage delivery timelines, risk identification, and quality checkpoints throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product, Business, and Design.
  

2. Test Engineering & Automation

• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and ensure 100% requirement coverage.
• Drive automation strategy and maintain automation frameworks using

  Selenium, Appium

  , and relevant tools.
• Develop automated scripts for web, mobile, API, and integration testing.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and enable continuous testing practices.
• Use cloud testing platforms like

  BrowserStack

  /

  LambdaTest

  for cross-browser and device compatibility testing.

3. Delivery & Quality Ownership

• Ensure high-quality, on-time releases for multiple product lines.
• Manage defect triage, prioritization, and release readiness decisions.
• Drive UAT, regression, smoke testing, and production certification.
• Engage with external partners/vendors to maintain QA efficiency and alignment.
