Associate Publication Selection Specialist

We are currently looking for an Assistant Editor / Associate Publication Selection Specialist to join our Web of Science editorial team in Belgrade. The Web of Science Core Collection is a trusted database for journals, books, and conference proceedings, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to its growth and curation. This position is a 6-month contract and requires the following qualifications and experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Proficient in English (B2/C1) - 2+ years of general working experience - 1+ years of experience in publishing Desired skills include customer-orientation, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, critical appraisal skills, strong time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. In this role, you will: - Conduct initial reviews of scholarly journals based on predefined criteria - Assess publication quality using industry norms and subject matter knowledge - Collect and organize data for evaluations - Prepare accurate reports on journal evaluations and communicate findings to publishers - Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues globally You will report to the Assistant Editor Team Leader and work in a modern, global team environment with colleagues from the USA, UK, Spain, Serbia, and India.
