Associate Project Engineer - HVDC Plant Electrical Design

Role Overview: As an auxiliary design engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in understanding technical requirements for auxiliary power system networks to ensure the equipment and station run smoothly without any interruption, ultimately ensuring safety for the end equipment and HVDC station. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate knowledge in the design of MVS, LVS, Diesel Generator, Auxiliary/distribution Transformer & battery system. - Prepare SLD, List of loads/load list/feeder list. - Estimate material, equipment sizing activity (Diesel Generator & Auxiliary/Distribution transformer) and cable sizing (LV & MV). - Coordinate with project teams, support PLM activities, and update processes based on feedback. - Understand global standards and ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in Design of auxiliary power for substation/power plant/ Oil and gas. - HVDC Experience is preferred. - Knowledge of design principles and applicable standards within the technical field. - Proficiency in Eplan or Elecdes, NX or Teamcenter and PLM Tools. - Knowledge & Experience in MS Office: Word, Excel. - Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
