Job Overview:
Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Centre is seeking applications for Assistant Professor – Community Medicine. The role requires a committed academic professional with expertise in public health, epidemiology, and community-based teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Community Medicine to undergraduate students as per NMC guidelines
• Conduct field visits, surveys, community programs, and practical training
• Guide students in research, projects, and public health initiatives
• Participate in examinations, evaluations, and academic planning
• Contribute to research, publications, and institutional activities
• Assist in departmental administration and accreditation processes

Eligibility Criteria:

• MD / DNB in Community Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine (PSM) (Mandatory)
• Teaching experience as per NMC norms
• Strong knowledge of public health programs and epidemiology
• Good communication, leadership, and mentoring skills

Experience:

• As per NMC norms (Eligible freshers may apply, subject to guidelines)
