JOY UNIVERSITY is looking for Associate Professor/Professor in Fashion Design to join our dynamic team.

• Teach a range of courses in the department, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Should be comfortable in handling modern trends of designs related to the fashion industry.
• Conduct original research in the field and publish in academic journals and at conferences
• Contribute towards the development of the department in terms of teaching and non-teaching activities.
• Advise students and mentor junior faculty members
• Making the teaching more effective and interesting to the students by the use of multi-media or the latest digital platforms teaching aids.
• Pursue external funding opportunities to support research and teaching activities
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field and enhance teaching skills
• He/she should prepare the schedule of lectures with topics, tests, assignments, demonstrations, screening of video or power point presentations etc., in advance.
• The faculty member is required to plan and make complete preparation well in advance to teach the theory effectively and practical courses.
