Associate Professor for Cardiology

Responsibilities

• Teaching and Mentorship:
• Deliver lectures, seminars, and clinical demonstrations on various cardiology topics.
• Develop and update the cardiology curriculum to reflect current clinical practices.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate students, interns, and postgraduate students.
• Guide research projects, dissertations, and publications for students and fellows.
• Clinical Care:
• Provide expert clinical care in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform and/or supervise specialized interventional procedures.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Research:
• Conduct independent and collaborative research in cardiology.
• Publish research findings in reputable cardiology journals.
• Seek funding for research projects.
• Service and Administration:
• Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
• Contribute to institutional decision-making and program development.
• Organize and participate in CMEs, workshops, and seminars.
• Engage in community outreach and represent the institution at conferences.
• Professional Development:
• Stay current with advancements in the field through continuous learning.
• Engage in innovative teaching techniques.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctoral degree and a strong academic record.
• Advanced certification in cardiology.
• Experience in medical education and curriculum development.
• Published research in peer-reviewed journals.
• Several years of experience in teaching at the university or college level.
• Clinical experience in cardiology, often including experience with interventional procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
