Role Overview: As an Associate at EY, you will be part of the National Markets team with a focus on CBS - MKT - MAT - Solution Activation based in Gurgaon. Your role will involve delivering high-quality research and analysis to support internal stakeholders in building client relationships, winning pursuits, and enhancing the brand and reputation of EY in the industry. You will work on various projects and engage with stakeholders to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Produce a range of analysis work, from high-level single frames to detailed reports, to support the firm's strategic decisions on industries, companies, and emerging topics. - Demonstrate and apply strong subject knowledge to deliverables. - Support engagement with stakeholders and internal customers by providing clear perspectives on market trends, challenges, and opportunities through impactful research and analysis. - Conduct proactive research using primary and secondary information sources to provide insights on industry trends, key players, and competitive environments. - Perform valuations for management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and detailed financial modeling. - Work independently with minimal guidance to handle production and review of deliverables, both quantitative and qualitative. - Continuously develop knowledge on the assigned industry and generate original ideas for research and analysis. - Identify cross-sector sharing opportunities and collaborate with other domain teams on relevant issues. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - 2-4 years of experience in respective sector, business analysis, industry research, management consulting, or business performance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial analysis skills. - Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills. - Good project and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Collaborative mindset and ability to work well both as part of a team and independently. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical + AI tools.
