Description
As a Contract Specialist at SitusAMC, you will play a crucial role in facilitating contract signatures and maintaining organization of templates. Your responsibilities will include abstracting required terms of various professional services and technology contracts such as master services agreements, NDAs, statements of work, engagement letters, and software license agreements. It will be your duty to keep contract records organized, maintain officer and signatory lists, as well as company affiliate descriptions and org charts, both international and domestic. In addition to your primary role, you will also provide support to the legal department on special projects and ad hoc tasks, which may involve conducting research, organizing policies and procedures, managing contract workflow and projects, assisting in mergers and acquisitions, and responding to due diligence requests related to vendor management. To excel in this position, you should ideally possess an associate degree or paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree with relevant legal experience in finance or technology sectors. A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, preferably at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level, along with contracts-related legal experience in a corporate or law firm setting, will be beneficial. Strong academic background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in creating and managing contracts and legal documents, and superior attention to detail are essential qualities for this role. Your ability to work collaboratively in a team, demonstrate project leadership, and communicate effectively will be key to your success. You should also exhibit strong organizational and multitasking skills, a high level of professionalism, discretion, and business judgment, as well as a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet resources, along with research and analytical skills, will be advantageous. The compensation for this role will be determined based on interviews, relevant education, experience, training, skills, and geographic location, aligning with market data. Additionally, eligible positions may receive a discretionary bonus subject to bonus program guidelines and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
